In several conversations with the late Peter Pry, Elizabeth and Mr. Pry talked about what would happen if an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) were launched against the United States. Mr. Pry indicated that such an event would claim the lives of 90 percent of the population. Launching such a device against the US would require time, technology, money, and cooperation with a rogue foreign government. A more likely scenario is that a team of cyber criminals could simultaneously hack into the infrastructure structures in this country and take down power, water, communications and transportation systems… doing the same damage as an EMP.
