We live in a country where food processing companies are using us as the test subjects for their often dangerous food additives. The health of our nation is being destroyed while these companies rack up record profits. Some blame the influence of money and campaign contributions, others say it’s as a result of the revolving door between a job in the private sector followed by a government job working as a watchdog of the very industry they just left. In the meantime, at a time when we should be healthy, our citizens are obese, have diabetes and heart diseases and our children will be living shorter lives.
There’s a LONG list of food additives that we in the United States consume everyday, that other countries have banned.
