In our RV Tips and Tales this week, a story we’d rather not have to tell.
In Los Angeles, broken down old RVs are being towed from what appears to be junk yards, parked on city streets and then rented out to people needing a place to stay.
This is a far bigger story than inoperable RVs blocking the sidewalks of LA businesses and neighborhoods, it’s a tale of severe homelessness, loss of jobs, rampant drug use, a shrinking tax base, crime, improper sanitation, and in all likelihood, human trafficking. While the city leaders are making noise about clearing the streets at the behest of business owners, little seems to be underway to address the core problems facing Los Angeles.
