Before you take Fido or Fifi on a road trip, (or in our case, Lenny & Romeo) Elizabeth has some tips for traveling with your pets. There are a LOT of considerations when your four-legged fur babies travel with you, and needless to say, it’s a LOT of extra work. Sometimes a vacation for you can be stressful to them.
Dogs feel the need to protect their owners and their territory. When it’s unclear to the animal what that territory is, they can become anxious… especially when they are young.
Lenny has traveled with us frequently over the years, and Romeo joined us on a recent road trip to Hilton Head. As they’re both getting older, they’re generally very well-behaved and enjoy traveling.
Here are some ways to make travel easier and more enjoyable for both you and your pet.
