In April of 2013 Elizabeth Dougherty from Food and Travel Nation spoke with Jane Akre, a former reporter for Fox 13, WTVT-TV in Tampa Bay.

Along with her now former husband Steve Wilson, their landmark story of journalists being FIRED for telling the truth was included in the  documentary, The Corporation

Ms. Akre spoke with us about their never-aired story on bovine growth hormone (rBGH).

As WTVT-TV is owned BY the Fox Television Corporation, the decision NOT to air their story and then to fire them came from the biggest names in the news industry.  Their firings led to a wrongful termination lawsuit against Fox.
