After 10 months of intense public pressure and a successful lawsuit, the US Assistant Secretary for Health released the long-awaited report on the toxicity of fluoride in the drinking water supply.  As expected, the draft release of the “NTP Monograph on the State of the Science Concerning Fluoride Exposure and Neurodevelopmental and Cognitive Health Effects” shows NO safe levels of fluoride, and in fact, the report linked prenatal and childhood fluoride exposure to reduced IQ in children.

Why hasn’t the federal government ordered the immediate cessation of injecting fluoride into the water supply?  In lieu of action by the USA Department of Health and Human Services, why haven’t the states done so?

It’s time that we put pressure on both the federal government and our state directors of health to ban fluoride immediately.
