No joke. This Seriously Best Secret Focaccia Recipe is THE best, most stellar, epic focaccia bread ever. This recipe will make restaurants green with envy.

INGREDIENTS Seriously Best Secret Focaccia Recipe

Packet of yeast

2 tsp honey

2 1/2 cup warm water (not over 110F)

5 cups flour

1 1/2 tsp salt

olive oil

ghee

METHOD

In bowl of a stand mixer, add yeast, honey and water.

Mix for a few seconds. Let yeast start to react.

Add flour and salt

Cover in a bowl coated with olive oil. Let rise until doubled 4-5 hours.

Brush a 9×14 baking dish with ghee. Coat bottom with olive oil. (see video)

Put dough in baking dish. Cover and let rise 2 hours.

Preheat oven 450F

Poke with fingers all over. (see video) Drizzle with olive oil and sea salt.

Bake 25 minutes. Drizzle olive oil.

This bread is outstanding for Sunday dinner with pasta and sauce or anytime. It also makes great sandwiches and will stand up well in a sandwich press. Cut the square midway deep to make two slices. Then you can add a slice of fresh mozzarella, fresh tomato and basil with a drizzle of olive oil, sea salt and pepper.
